Dimitar Berbatov is 44 today. The Bulgarian was initially brought to England by Tottenham Hotspur in 2006 from German side Bayer Leverkusen, before he joined Manchester United two years later.
After four years at Old Trafford, Berbatov moved down to London to play for Fulham before moving to Monaco, Greek side PAOK Salonika and ending his career at Indian side Kerala Blasters.
Berbatov scored 48 goals in 78 games for his country.
Peter Crouch also celebrates his 44th birthday today. Just like Dimitar Berbatov, Crouch played for Tottenham Hotspur. He played for nine English clubs during his career and won 42 caps for England between 2005 and 2010, scoring 22 goals. Crouch played at both the 2006 and 2010 World Cup tournaments.
Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones is 24 today. He has already made 160 appearances for Liverpool and scored 19 goals for The Reds, as well as winning two caps for England. He scored his first international goal in November last year away to Greece.
Jones has already won the Premier League, FA Cup, Community Shield and FIFA Club World Cup.
Set-piece specialist Juninho Pernambucano is 50 today. The Brazilian won 40 caps for the Selecao between 1999 and 2006 before retiring from the international game at the end of the 2006 World Cup.
Juninho signed for French club Lyon in 2001 after joining from Brazilian side Vasco da Gama. It was at Lyon where he became known throughout Europe for his fantastic free-kicks.
In 2009, Juninho left to play in Qatar before rejoining Vasco Da Gama a year later. He then moved to New York Red Bulls for a season before moving to Vasco Da Gama for a third spell in 2013.
Watford’s Tom Ince is 33 today. Ince has played for 12 clubs during his career, playing Premier League football for three of them (Crystal Palace, Hull City and Huddersfield Town). He has played 550 games during his fifteen-year career and scored 110 goals. He is the son of former England international Paul Ince.
