Stan Collymore is 54 today. The former England international was once the most expensive player in British history when he cost Liverpool £8.5 million in the summer of 1995.
Collymore started his career at Crystal Palace before moving to Southend United. After impressing at Roots Hall, Nottingham Forest came in and signed him.
After impressing at Forest, Liverpool came in for him. Collymore won his three and only caps for England during his time at Anfield.
Aston Villa was the striker’s next stop before a loan spell at Fulham, then spells at Leicester City, Bradford City and finally ending his career in Spain with Real Oviedo.

Jonathan Woodgate celebrates his 45th birthday today. He won eight England caps during his career and famously signed for Real Madrid in 2004.
Woodgate started his career before joining Newcastle United before his time in the Spanish capital. He then moved to Middlesbrough, Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke City before ending his career on a second spell at Middlesbrough.

Former Argentina international Fabricio Coloccini is 42 today. After starting at Boca Juniors, he moved to AC Milan before going out on loan to four different clubs, three of them in Spain.
Deportivo La Coruna signed Coloccini on a permanent deal from AC Milan in 2004 and he spent four years there, before joining Newcastle United four years later.
After six years on Tyneside, Coloccini ended his career back in Argentina.

Former Frech international defender Frank Leboeuf celebrates his 57th birthday today. Leboeuf won the World Cup with France in 1998 before winning the European Championships two years later.
The Frenchman started his career in his native country before moving to Chelsea in 1996. After five years at Stamford Bridge, Leboeuf moved to Marseille before ending his career in Qatar.
