Good, Bad and Ugly kits from the past – Swansea City
Good – away shirt 1978/79
I really love this shirt and it’s one of my favourite that I’ve included in this series.
The bright yellow shirt looks fantastic with a red and blue sash running from one shoulder across the shirt.
Bad – home shirt 1993/94
This design was the same as the previous season but the sponsors changed. Matchwinner designed and manufactured the shirt and the squiggly lines over one shoulder and around under one arm looks quite horrible.
Ugly – home shirt 1994/95
The only reason that I have chosen this in the ‘Ugly’ section is the awful design of the sleeves. The thin stripes look really odd and is entirely unnecessary. It would have been a nice design as just a plain black and white.
