A Quick Update on the Blog
I thought that I would give a quick update on what is happening with Far Post Header at the moment.
On Sunday, I did my first ever video interview. It was with Andy Campbell, the former Middlesbrough and Cardiff City striker. I interviewed him previously and it was published a few months ago. (You can read it by clicking here). I am currently editing the video and will publish it on here the end of the week.
I have also created a YouTube Channel for the blog. My aforementioned video interview will be uploaded on there along with other football-related videos in time. When I am able to get some more video interviews done, they will be uploaded on there as well as on this blog.
If you are a regular reader, you will notice that there haven’t been any interviews published for a few Fridays. This is because I haven’t sent many out and still have some former players to contact. There are a few exciting people within the game that I hope to hear from in the coming weeks and I hope to get some written interviews out of these contacts.
The video interview with Andy Campbell was a success and I have a couple of other people lined up to call in the next few weeks. There is quite a bit of editing that also needs to be done to each video and so they take a little longer to publish.
A fair amount of research needs to go into each interview and as a result, I am unable to spend as much time writing articles. I will continue with the daily ‘On This Day’ article and other features such as ‘Iconic Moments in Football’ every Wednesday and ‘Football’s Greatest Goals’ every Thursday.
