Good, Bad and Ugly kits from the past – Tottenham Hotspur
Good – home shirt 1991 – 93
As an Arsenal fan, it is a real job to find a Tottenham shirt that I like enough to describe as ‘Good’.
As much as it pains me to say this, I do actually like the design of this shirt and it’s the first Spurs shirt that I remember them wearing growing up.
That’s all, I can’t say anything else positive!
Bad – away shirt 1991 – 93
Ah yes, the bird shit kit! (Yes that is the first profanity that I have used on the blog but you see what I mean with the design!)
The white splodge with an odd black pattern running down the sleeve does not look good and you can see where it got the above nickname from!
Ugly – third shirt 2016/17
Spurs have made a lot of poor shirts over the years and this has to be the pick of the bunch.
It’s a horrible colour and the thin pinstripes running down the body of the shirt aren’t much better. They could have got away with this shirt in the 80’s when a lot of teams experimented with pinstripes.
