Good, Bad and Ugly kits from the past – Rochdale
Good – home shirt 2000/02
I really like this design by Uhlsport. The collar looks really nice and tidier than the shirts below!
The sleeves had a white stripe down the side and there was a thin white stripe running down the armpit of the shirt.
Bad – home shirt 1993/94
Not a nice home shirt in the 1993/94 season for the ‘Dale fans to watch their team play in.
The splashed of red and white across the shirt were in keeping with the time when many teams had the design on their shirts.
Ugly – away shirt 1995/96
This is certainly an ugly bottle green/turquoise colour away shirt.
With a double black thin pinstripes across the shirt and an over-sized black collar, it’s the worst shirt that I could find from Rochdale’s back catalogue.
