Good, Bad and Ugly kits from the past – Queens Park Rangers
Good – home shirt 1983-85
Guinness had the honour of being the first sponsors to have their name across a QPR shirt. This was the first shirt with their name on and has become iconic.
Thin red stripes border each large blue vertical stripe. The three blue Adidas stripes down the side look good and so does the cross-over collar.
Bad – away shirt 2002/03
I much prefer the red and black vertical hoops as the QPR away shirt. This design of black and red halves doesn’t look very “QPR”!
Ugly – third shirt 1990/91
This third shirt was brought out in the 1990/91 season and was needed in the R’s trip to Selhurst Park when they faced Crystal Palace.
Rangers’ home shirt is blue and white and that season’s away shirt was red and black. Crystal Palace’s shirt was red and blue so orange was the colour of choice!
