Good, Bad and Ugly kits from the past – Mansfield Town

Good – third shirt 2015/16
This was the colour of the first Mansfield Town shirt when they were formed in 1897. The club brought out a replica for the 1997/98 season to celebrate their centenary season and the same design and colours were used for their third shirt in the 2015/16 season.

Bad – away shirt 2010/11
This was the shirt worn by Mansfield Town for their 2010/11 season and isn’t one of the best designs.
The shirt is designed on the flag of St. George and doesn’t look right at all. It was ditched after one season.

Ugly – third shirt 2018/19
The gold and green shirt looks quite good if it was a plain green shirt but the designers insisted on having some gold smudged on it instead. Definitely one of the ugliest designs of recent times.
