Good, Bad and Ugly kits from the past – Carlisle United
Good – home shirt 2013/14
I actually quite like this home shirt from the 2013/14 season. Manufactured by Fila, the plain blue shirt with narrow white pinstripes and a white collar and small red trim.
Bad – home shirt 1990/91
Riberio manufactured a lot of lower league shirts in the early ’90s and this has to be one of the worst!
A plain blue design with several white wavy designs and patterns. It was only worn for one season and just as well.
Ugly – away shirt 1995-97
This shirt is now infamous and was worn in an Auto Windscreen’s Shield Final at Wembley Stadium.
It’s been nicknamed ‘the deckchair shirt’ because it looks like one!
